A VERY NICE STORY WITH A GOOD MORAL

A kindergarten teacher has decided to let her class play a game.

The teacher told each child in the class to bring along a plastic bag containing a few potatoes.

Each potato will be given a name of a person that the child hates,

So the number of potatoes that a child will put in his/her plastic bag will depend on the number of people he/she hates.

So when the day came, every child brought some potatoes with the name of the people he/she hated. Some had 2 potatoes; some 3 while some up to 5 potatoes. The teacher then told the children to carry with them the potatoes in the plastic bag wherever they go (even to the toilet) for 1 week.

Days after days passed by, and the children started to complain due to the unpleasant smell let out by the rotten potatoes. Besides, those having 5 potatoes also had to carry heavier bags. After 1 week, the children were relieved because the game had finally ended....

The teacher asked: "How did you feel while carrying the potatoes with you for 1 week?". The children let out their frustrations and started complaining of the trouble that they had to go through having to carry the heavy and smelly potatoes wherever they go.

Then the teacher told them the hidden meaning behind the game. The teacher said: "This is exactly the situation when you carry your hatred for somebody inside your heart. The stench of hatred will contaminate your heart and you will carry it with you wherever you go. If you cannot tolerate the smell of rotten potatoes for just 1 week, can you imagine what is it like to have the stench of hatred in your heart for your lifetime???"

Moral of the story: Throw away any hatred for anyone from your heart so that you will not carry sins for a lifetime. Forgiving others is the best attitude to take but never ever forget the lesson they have thought you.

True love is not loving a perfect person but loving an imperfect person perfectly

FOR WHOM

An Elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer Contractor of his plans to leave the house building business and live a more leisurely life with his wife enjoying his extended family. He would miss the paycheck, but the needed to retire. They could get by.

The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go and asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favour. The carpenter said yes, but in time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career.

When the carpenter finished his work the employer came to inspect the house. He handed the front door key to the carpenter. “THIS IS YOUR HOUSE” he said “MY GIFT TO YOU”.

The carpenter was shocked! What a Shame! If he had only known he was building his own house. He would have done it all so differently.

So it is with us. We build our lives a day at a time, often putting less than our best into the building then with a shock we realize we have to live in the house we have built. If we could do it over, We’d do it much differently. But we cannot go back.

We are the carpenter. Each day we hammer a nail, place a board or erect a wall.

Life is a “DO IT YOURSELF” project, our attitude and the choices we make today, built the HOUSE we live in tomorrow. We must build wisely.

REMBER ………….

Work like you don’t need the money. Love like you’ve never been hurt. Dance like nobody is watching.

Ia a job is worth doing, it ‘s worth doing well.

Successful people help others who are slow in learning so that they are not felt far behind

Here I am sharing one interesting article which was received two years ago through mail in my mail box, sent by one of his friend.

This article is very interesting and teaches us a good lesson.

“It was a sports stadium. Eight students were standing on the track to participate in the running event.

Ready!
Steady!
Bang!

With the sound of toy pistol, all eight girls started running. Hardly have they covered ten to fifteen steps, one of the smaller girl slipped and fell down, due to bruises and pain she started crying. When other seven girls heard this sound, stopped running, stood for a while and turned back, they all ran back to the place where the girl fell down.

One among them bent, picked and kissed the girl gently and enquired “Now pain must have reduced”.

All seven girls lifted the fallen girl, pacified her, two of them held the girl firmly and they all seven joined hands together and walked together and reached the winning post.

Officials were socked.
Clapping of thousands of spectators filled the stadium.
Many eyes were filled with tears and perhaps it had reached the GOD event!
YES. This happened in Hyderabad, recently!

The sport was conducted by national institute of mental health. All these special girl had come to participate in this event and they are spastic children.

Yes, they were mentally challenged.

What did they teach this world?
Teamwork?
Humanity?
Equality among all?
……..????

Successful people help others who are slow in learning so that they are not felt far behind.
Have a good day!

PRAYER

Our prayer should be just a THANK YOU, it is a prayer. We should never say, do this, do that, don't do this, don't do that.

We should NEVER ADVICE GOD.

That shows our irreligiousness, our lack of TRUST.

We should thank him "Our life is already a benediction, a blessing".

How our inner Ego sometimes misjudges a PERSON.

A lady in a faded grey dress and her husband, dressed in a home-spun suit walked in timidly without an appointment into the Harvard University President's outer office. The secretary could tell in a moment that such backwoods, country hicks had no business at Harvard and probably didn't even deserve to be in Harvard. "We want to see the President "the ma n said softly. "He'll be busy all day "the secretary snapped.
"We'll wait" the lady replied.
For hours the secretary ignored them, hoping that the couple would finally become discouraged and go away. They didn't and the secretary grew frustrated and finally decided to disturb the president.. "Maybe if you see them for a few minutes, they'll leave" she said to him. The President, stern faced and with dignity, strutted toward the couple.
The lady told him "We had a son who attended Harvard for one y ear. He loved Harvard. He was happy here. But about a year ago, he was accidentally killed. My husband and I would like to erect a memorial to him, somewhere on campus."
The president wasn't touched....He was shocked. "Madam "he said, gruffly, " we can't put up a statue for every person who attended Harvard and died. If we did, this place would look like a cemetery." "Oh, no," the lady explained quickly” We don't want to erect a statue. We thought we would like to give a building to Harvard."
The president rolled his eyes. He glanced at the gingham dress and homespun suit, and then exclaimed, "A building! Do you have any earthly idea how much a building costs? We have over seven and a half million dollars in the physical buildings here at Harvard." For a moment the lady was silent. The president was pleased. Maybe he could get rid of them now.. The lady turned to her husband and said quietly, "Is that all it costs to start a university ? Why don't we just start our own?" Her husband nodded. The president's face wilted in confusion and bewilderment. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stanford got up and walked away, traveling to Palo Alto, California where they established the University that bears their name: -Stanford University, a memorial to a son that Harvard no longer cared about.
Most of the time we judge people by their outer appearance, which can be misleading. And in this impression, we tend to treat people badly by thinking they can do nothing for us. Thus we tend to lose our potential good friends, employees or customers. Remember In our Life, we seldom get people with whom we want to share & grow our thought process. But because of our inner EGO we miss them forever. It is you who have to decide with whom you are getting associated in day to day life. Small people talk about others, Average people talk about things, Great people talk about ideas
